Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. Also, she was the producer of costumes/sets as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC when she was its Artistic Director. For her last year she served as director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
